Bread for Life is a great organization where you can shop in a managed environment for fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen meats, milk and other dairy products, prepared foods, canned goods, dry goods and pantry staples, as well as bread, pastries and desserts. They are located at 7849 John Clayton Memorial Highway (Route 14), Gloucester, Virginia (across from Ware Episcopal Church). Abingdon Ruritan Club supports this organization in two ways: Collecting and delivering food items to the store and making an annual donation.
