Seven ARC Voting Delegates represented Abingdon Ruritan Club at the National Convention January 24 and 25 in Greenville, South Carolina. The group also represented Chesapeake District (along with Mike Morrison) as well. President Dean conducted a very successful workshop on Communications which was highly praised by those attending. Danny & Mary Lou conducted the Flag Ceremony honoring the American and Ruritan Flags, the Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, and Air Force Flags, the POW/MIA Flag, the Space Force Flag, the Honor and Remember Flag, and the Flags of all States who have Ruritan Clubs. Doug Johnson marched in with the Navy Flag. Music was used throughout the ceremony.
