SUPPORT OF 4-H CAMP

SUPPORT OF 4-H CAMP. Gloucester County Youth participate in the annual regional 4-H Junior Camp for youth, ages 9-13 at the 4-H Educational Center on the James River in Williamsburg, Virginia. Activities include swimming, archery, kayaking, marine science, and crafts. Local civic groups regularly donate funds to sponsor local children. Abingdon Ruritan Club is one of the donors. Cost to send one child to camp is $400. Shown in the photo is right to left Abingdon Ruritan Club Member Danny Privott presenting a donation check for $1600 to Krista Gustafson, Jackie Jefferis, and Heather Johnson staff members at the Gloucester County Virginia Cooperative Extension Office. This donation will sponsor four kids. Photo by Mary Lou Privott
